SIUE's new mascot was unveiled this afternoon in the quad, and it looks something like this. Rest in peace Cory.
Okay, so it's a Cougar...sort of? It's kind of bionic and ready to kick your ass. It's part Cougar, part teddy bear, part "situation" part robot. I liked Cory but this definitely gives us a new bad-ass attitude and image Cory didn't bring. I'll miss him. Pretty sure this guy killed him and stole his pants.
They are currently looking to name the thing. I have no idea what fits...Crusher? Killer? Imgoingto@#%#@eatyou? I like to just think of it as plain old Cory on steroids. We'll miss you buddy. What do you think?

You know the Cougar statue outside the MUC? That was a real Cougar until Crusher stared it down, turning it to stone.
