So, our suspicious poster tipped us off to this, Alex talked to Mark Yelovich and apparently Chatt is out for next season. Working on additional confirmation now. Would be a big blow, considering Chatt led the team with 12.1 ppg last season.
Could be a number of factors: Grades, disciplinary reasons, wanting to go to a bigger/better DI school, ect. but still too early to speculate. I'll update you.

All we really need is for 2 or 3 of the 5 recruits to make a instant impact. 5-10 ppg. If this happens, then Chatt not playing will be negated. I still can visualise a more improved team. Keep hope alive!
I am going to assume it is not wanting to go to a better school since he only has one year left. Not that it doesn't happen but it wouldn't make a lot of sense unless it was pretty high profile, which I would doubt.
I had a feeling something like this was going to happen...he started out in trouble last year....I wouldnt be surprised if it is grades related because he got the playing time he needed......I just hope he doesnt end up like his brother in prision!!!!!
Loved him as a player, but we have enough guards. Would love to see us get bigger. I don't know much about the SIUE athletics office, but I would love to see us recruit better. We live in the state of Illinois, and U of I doesn't even recruit it. If we could just get one of the top 5 out of Chicago each year and the top 2 or 3 out of STL each year, we'd be fine.
Best of luck to Cornelius in his endeavors, and for that matter, to the rest of the team.
If it's grades(this is my best guess) is there anyway around this? Can he play 2nd half of season if he does good in the classroom for fall semester?
Here's the thing, and it's not much of an update at all. I texted coach Forrester Monday, and left him a voicemail Tuesday regarding Chatt. Still have not heard back from him. It makes me wonder. -AL
